I’m the founder of Mid Cape Web Design. I help local businesses understand why their websites don’t perform the way they should — and fix the things that actually matter.

My Journey in Web Design & SEO

I began my career in web design and online marketing nearly two decades ago, working in sales at a Rhode Island–based web design firm. That experience gave me an inside look at how agencies operate — what works, what doesn’t, and where clients are often left confused or disappointed.

Eventually, I stepped out on my own and launched WebDetective.com. Like many independent ventures, it was a learning experience. I struggled, adjusted, and gained a deeper understanding of what small businesses truly need from their websites — clarity, trust, and results, not promises.

Three years ago, I took a more focused path by acquiring Mid Cape Web Design and committing fully to serving businesses on Cape Cod and surrounding Massachusetts communities. That local focus changed everything.
